STEP 1 - MEET REQUIREMENTS
At Pecan Grove, we pride ourselves in our ability to accommodate dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments, including non-social dogs, as long as they are not aggressive towards our staff. Additionally, we do NOT require an evaluation day prior to your pet's stay!

Pecan Grove Kennel has established certain prerequisites to ensure the safety and well-being of both pets and our staff. It is advisable to administer vaccinations a few days prior to your visit to Pecan Grove to allow the vaccines sufficient time to take effect, offering improved protection for your pet. Furthermore, some pets might experience adverse reactions to vaccinations shortly after receiving them. To streamline the process, we suggest having your veterinarian email vaccination records before your evaluation. Alternatively, you can bring a physical copy with you when you check in. All vaccinations must be administered by a vet.
Requirements for All Dogs:
+ Current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
+ At least 3 months old, although 4 months of age is encouraged for the health of your pet. All rounds of vaccinations must be completed prior to coming in. Puppies are still developing their immune systems at an early age, thus there is a slightly higher risk factor for young puppies in any kennel environment.
+ All dogs must be on a regular flea preventative.
Requirements for All Cats:
+ Current on Rabies and FVRCP
+ All pets must be on a regular flea preventative.
